‘They told me not to stop for police’

A 22-year-old Perry woman ended her year by leading police on a high-speed chase through the city, running stop signs and crossing four lanes of traffic at a time in a failed attempt to escape.

Jenisha Lenahy Hartfield spent New Year’s Eve in jail after being taken into custody Saturday, Dec. 30, on a charge of fleeing/ attempting to elude a police officer.
