Morris to serve as keynote speaker for Jan. 21 celebration

Taylor County native Terry Morris returns to his hometown Sunday, Jan. 21, to serve as keynote speaker for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration.

New Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church will host this year’s program, which begins at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Morris is a leader in technology at Eli Lilly & Company, and has been based out of Indianapolis, Ind., for nearly 17 years.
