John Airon Butler

John Airon Butler, 78, died Jan. 3, 2018, in Perry. John was born July 15, 1939, in Douglas, Ga. to Joe Butler and Ruby Byers Butler.

John honorably served our country in the United States Air Force. He was of the Christian faith. John was self-employed and worked in the mechanical and cable business for over 50 years.

John was preceded in death by: his parents, Joe Butler and Ruby Byers Butler; and his son, James K. Butler

John is survived by: his son, John K. Butler Sr. of Perry; his daughter, Kathern J. Foulger of Napa, Calif.; his sister, Doretha Cribbs of Polk City; as well as a clan of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
