Sarah Ann Osborne, 75, died Jan. 9, 2018, in Tallahassee. Sarah was born Oct. 30, 1942, in Thomasville, Ga. to Dr. Walter Joseph Baker and Marilu Potts Baker.
Sarah was of the Episcopal faith and was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She worked as a bookkeeper in data processing. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Perry Chapter # 98, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was certified as a poll worker with the County, and was a floral designer for Zeiglers Florist for over 10 years.
Sarah was preceded in death by: her parents, Dr. Walter Joseph Baker and Marilu Potts Baker; her husband, Kenneth Wilbur Osborne; and her son, Mark Charles Osborne.
Sarah is survived by: two sons, Michael Joseph Osborne and Richard B. Osborne; one sister, Jane Baker Chaffin; two step-children, Ken Osborne and Kay Kurtz; and one granddaughter, Katharine Paige Osborne.
Funeral services will be held today (Friday), at 2 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church with Father Aquilla Hanson officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m., at St James Episcopal Church. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
