County commission will begin morning meetings Jan. 16

On Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 9 a.m the Taylor County Board of County Commissioners will hold its first daytime meeting in years at the Taylor County Administrative Complex (old post office building) located at 201 E. Green Street.

As part of the county’s annual reorganization process held late last year, commissioners surprised many with a 5-0 vote in favor of moving their second meeting each month (held on the third Tuesday) to 9 a.m. – changing its long-standing practice of holding 6 p.m. meetings on the first Monday and third Tuesday or each month.
