Despite expressing some reservations at their Jan. 2 regular meeting, county commissioners voted 4-1 in favor of a request from the Taylor County Development Authority (TCDA) to expand the economic development agency’s board of directors from five to seven voting members.
Commissioner Frank Russell voted against the change, pointing out that it would not solve the TCDA’s ongoing issue of not having a quorum of voting members present at monthly meetings.
