Fike to be inducted into Hall of Fame

Longtime former Taylor County School District administrator and former Valdosta State University (VSU) two-sport star Dennis Fike will be honored by the VSU Athletic Department on Jan. 19-20 when he is inducted into the school’s “Hall of Fame” as a member of the Class of 2018.

Sponsored by the VSU Alumni Association, the VSU Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2018 will honor Fike and his fellow inductees with a Friday, Jan. 19 reception at VSU’s University Center (Magnolia Room) from 6-9 p.m., followed by the 22nd Annual Induction Ceremony & Brunch on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom in Valdosta, Ga.
