The Taylor County High School varsity girls soccer team was on the bus and headed to Jackson County to take on Marianna last Friday afternoon when they received a call that the officials had been in an accident and would be unable to officiate the game, causing the Lady Bulldogs to have to turn around and return to Perry.
After the district game was canceled, the Lady Bulldogs’s record remains at 10-3 on the year. Taylor is ranked second in their district to Florida High, who beat Taylor County by a 4-1 margin earlier this season.
