Cold weather shelter opens

First Baptist Church will once again open its doors to local residents in need this week as temperatures dip below freezing for an extended period of time.

Taylor County’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers will also once again donate their time to staff the shelter located in the church’s fellowship hall located at 102 N. Center St.
