Nanci L. Reams Ratliff

Nanci L. Reams Ratliff, 64, died Jan. 10, 2018, in Perry. Nanci was born March 4, 1953 in Miami to Robert David Reams Jr. and Myrtle Douglas Reams.

Nanci was of the Christian faith and attended Antioch Revival Center. She was a bookkeeper with H&R Block for 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping and fishing, and just being in the outdoors. Nanci was a devoted nanny, who loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert and Myrtle Reams; and her brothers, Lonnie Fender and Chuck Fender.

Nanci is survived by: her husband, Gary Ratliff; her children, Robert Bodiford, Willie Bodiford, Jason Bodiford, Manuel Ratliff, and Aida Beach; siblings, David Reams, Drayton Reams, Jerry Reams, Joan Williamson, Laura Reams Carroll, Sue Reams, and Bobby Reams; extended family member, Shawn Bodiford; 15 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren on the way; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Bro. Cricket Watson officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Walker Cemetery in Lamont. The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Burns Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
