Blount’s TD carries Philadelphia Eagles to next round of playoffs

LeGarrette Blount rushed just nine times for only 19 yards, but scored the Philadelphia Eagles’ only touchdown in their 15-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs last Sunday.

The 31-year-old former Taylor County Bulldog star averaged just over two yards per carry, but punched the ball into the endzone on fourth down from one yard out to give the Eagles an early 6-0 lead. Jay Ajayi finished with 15 carries for 54 yards and receiver Nelson Agholor had two carries for 20 yards.
