Taylor County’s Glen Coxwell became the first Adult Education student in the state to receive the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) “Commissioner’s Leadership Award” during a ceremony held at the State Capitol in Tallahassee Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Coxwell, who attends Big Bend Technical College (BBTC), was presented the award by FLDOE Commissioner Pamela Stewart at the State Board of Education meeting held in the Florida Cabinet chambers.
