Girls host district championship game Jan. 26

The Taylor County High School varsity girls’ soccer team won its first match in the district tournament by a 3-1 score over Marianna here in Perry Wednesday night and will advance to Friday’s district championship game against longtime rival Florida High.

Megan Murphy, Karman Walker and Ceven Kidd each scored one goal each for the Bulldogs against Marianna, while Rebecca Shoaff and Kaitlin Willis each recorded one assist.
