Judge Blue raises local candidate tally to eight

Taylor County Judge Bill Blue has filed to run for re-election, bringing the total number of local candidates registered for the 2018 election cycle to eight.
Blue was first elected in 2012 to a six-year term.

Of the eight filed candidates, six are incumbents. There will be 11 city and county races decided this year. Currently five of those seats have no candidates registered to run yet, including two city council seats.
