Visit Natural Florida

“I came here just for your booth!” exclaimed a 30-year New Jersey resident stopping at the “Visit Natural Florida” display at the 2018 New York Times Travel Show Sunday afternoon, Jan. 28. “My husband and I want to visit all of the Florida state parks that have springs and go kayaking.”

Her words were music to the ears of “Visit Natural Florida” Committee Chair Dawn Taylor, who was part of the “Visit Florida” delegation at the show. Taylor was quick to hand the woman a brochure and map highlighting the freshwater springs that dot the area covered by the 13-county regional tourism group. “Visit Natural Florida” was one of more than 550 exhibitors at the annual travel show held at the famed Javits Center in New York City, N.Y. More than 29,000 attended the three-day event — the largest trade show of its kind.
