City will open drop-off site for used furniture once a month

With the City of Perry getting out of the “white goods” garbage collection business as of Saturday, Feb. 10, residents are left wondering, “Now what?”

The city’s public works department has developed a program to address those concerns, announcing that a drop-off site for used furniture (couches, mattresses, etc.) will be stationed at Loughridge Park once a month, beginning sometime later in February.
