Sunday’s Super Bowl 52 match-up between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles has huge implications, not only for two of America’s biggest sports cities, but also for Perry, Florida’s most famous football player.
LeGarrette Blount, who was born in Madison and raised in Perry by his parents, Gary Blount and Barbara Bonner, can secure his legacy among the greatest runningbacks in NFL history with another big playoff performance and securing his third Super Bowl ring – while helping one of America’s most celebrated sports city win its first-ever NFL championship.
