Middleton first female TCHS weightlifter to medal at state

Caroline Middleton became the first-ever Taylor County High School (TCHS) female weightlifter to win a medal at a state weightlifting meet by placing sixth in the 129-pound class at the FHSAA Class 1A Girls State Weightlifting Meet held on Friday, Feb. 2, at Arnold High School in Panama City Beach.

The top six competitors in each classification at the FHSAA state meet are invited to the winners’ platform and receive medals.
