It was a scene that has played out countless times at nearly every mud bog ever held – a truck stalled in the middle of the pond and another truck attaching a “snatch” rope to help pull them out.
However, the familiar scene took a tragic turn Saturday at the “The Original Pudding Creek Mud Bogg” on Red Padgett Road with a 45-year-old Perry man sustaining a severe head injury that has left him in critical condition.
Linc Murphy and his 11-year-old son, Jordan, were playing in the pond when Murphy’s truck became stuck.
