When three film students from Southeastern University came to Perry last summer to shoot footage for a historical documentary on the county, they had only a general outline of what the final product would be.
Four days of filming later, they faced the daunting task of distilling 72 hours of footage into a cohesive storyline that captured the essence of the community.
