MoonPie Princess Pageant will be held Friday, March 23

Some 32 bluegrass sweethearts will compete for the title of “MoonPie Princess” during ceremonies planned Friday, March 23, at Forest Capital Hall.

The program will begin at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 (children 5 and under are free).

Contestants will compete in two age groups, 5-6 and 7-8, with winners being crowned for each.

The princesses and sweethearts will preside over festivities at the annual Florida State Bluegrass Festival slated April 6-7.
