Whitt to run for Russell’s commission seat

Patrick C. Whitt has become the first person to register to run for the Taylor County Commission District 3 seat formerly held by long-time Commissioner Frank Russell.

Russell, who was most recently elected in November 2016, died on Feb. 10.
