Weightlifter Johnson places fourth in state

Bulldog lifter Cade Johnson represented the Taylor County High School (TCHS) weightlifting team all the way to the state competition, where he finished fourth in the 183 lb. class.

Johnson was undefeated in his weight class throughout the regular season, going 4-0 against lifters from teams such as Wakulla County (twice), Suwannee County and Maclay, before capturing a first-place medal in the district finals.
