In its 16th year, the Florida State Bluegrass Festival once again drew a large crowd of music fans who converged on Perry from locales across the country — and even Europe — to enjoy the three-day event despite heavy rains forcing the music inside on Saturday.
“There wasn’t much we could do about the weather, but fortunately we had enough warning, so we moved everything inside Forest Capital Hall, and everyone was able to still enjoy the music and have a good time,” Festival Coordinator Dawn Taylor said. “The rain definitely kept some people at home who would have had otherwise come out, but everyone who was with us enjoyed themselves.”
