Ask Louis Shaw where he grew up, and he boasts “on the wrong side of the tracks.”
The “tracks” he refers to is the railroad that crossed the mill town of Foley, which had sprang up in the shadow of the Brooks-Scanlon sawmill established here in late 1920s/early 1930s.
