Feagle ‘votes conscience’ and says ‘no’ to raise for county administrator

County Commission Chairwoman Pam Feagle was the only board member to vote against a $6,000 salary increase for County Administrator Ted Lakey at the county’s Tuesday, April 17 meeting — despite serving as the board’s representative in negotiations with the county’s top administrator.

Lakey’s contract with the board provides for a negotiated salary increase after one year of employment.
