    Donald D. Watts

    Donald D. Watts, 81, died April 17, 2018, in his Aucilla River Lodge in Eridu. Don was born November 13, 1936, in Eridu, to Robert Watts and Corrine Kemp Watts.

    Donald honorably served our country in the United States Air Force during Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Don was a journeyman electrician for over 30 years, and a member of the IBEW for over 55 years. He was an avid hunter and angler. In his spare time, he loved being at his river lodge and spending time in nature. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with friends.

    Don was preceded in death by: his son, Randy Watts; his parents, Robert and Corrine Watts; and his brothers, Rodney and Dean Watts.

    He is survived by: his wife of 21 years, Jo Ann Watts; his children, Don Watts, Jr., Lori Ann Whatley and Sheri Lee Smith; his stepchildren, Lamar Lee Stephens III, Jefferey Stephens and Felecia Stephens; his sister, Bobbye Reece Ray; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Lundy officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
