Southerland will host open house April 27 for new office

Taylor County is front and center at the new elections office located on Highway 19 North – and that’s just the way Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland wants it.

“This is your elections office. The people of Taylor County. Not mine,” Southerland emphasized as she welcomed a first-time visitor to the sprawling hub that fills a renovated former convenience store.
