Scholarship application deadline is Tuesday, May 1

Graduating seniors are reminded that Tuesday, May 1, is the deadline to submit applications for two $1,500 scholarships being awarded by the Taylor County Historical Society.

Applications are available at the Taylor County High School (TCHS) guidance office or online at the Society’s Facebook page.

The scholarships are being funded through contributions to the society made by former TCHS coach and Taylor County legislator Ken Smith in honor of Korean War POW Ed Sheffield, the late Paul Raymond Evans and the late W.T. Cash.
