Keaton Beach pier replacement begins

Work is underway on the reconstruction and replacement of the Hodges Park Pier at Keaton Beach, after the county issued the contractor with a notice to proceed on the project April 30.

At the county’s May 7 meeting, County Engineer Kenneth Dudley told commissioners that D&L Contracting of Suwannee has started staging supplies and materials at the former Keaton Beach Marina property site.
