    Judge recuses himself as jury selection begins

    Jury selection for a re-sentencing hearing for Ronald Spring came to an abrupt halt last Wednesday when County Judge Bill Blue announced “there has been a development in the case and it will not be going forward today.”

    No other explanation was given to the nearly 150 prospective jurors summoned for the hearing as they filed out of the courtroom with more questions than answers.
