Perry family is seeking news of missing son

When Derek Parks’ grandmother became ill and died last month, he was right by his family’s side – helping with her care and then bidding her a final good-bye.

“He drove down from his home in Tallahassee for his grandmother’s funeral. That was on June 30,” Park’s mother, Sherry Mims Brown said.
