Juanita F. Smith

Juanita F. Smith, 82, of Quincy, passed away peacefully at her home on July 26, 2018.
She leaves behind three children: Joy Lynne Porter (Tony Porter) of Sycamore, Terry Smith (Gail Smith) of Bainbridge, Ga., and Christal Brown (Marty Brown) of Bainbridge, as well as 10 grandchildren,
24 great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, M.E. Howell.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Alvin K. Smith, and a daughter, Karin Denise Smith.
Juanita was a devoted wife and mother who loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, and reading. In her later years, you could find her with her beloved Yorkie, Critter.
Visitation was held Sunday, July 29, from
4-6 p.m. at Charles McClellan Funeral
Home (15 S. Jackson St., Quincy).
Graveside services were held Monday, July 30, at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy.
