Davis inducted into UF 4-H Hall of Fame

Longtime Taylor County Extension Agent Henry Davis, 90, was inducted into the University of Florida’s 4-H Hall of Fame during formal ceremonies held Wednesday evening in Gainesville.

Davis, who served as director of UF/IFAS Extension here from 1954 to 1982, was nominated for the prestigious honor by 4-H Extension Agent I Abbey Tharpe.
