James Earl Bethea

James Earl Bethea, 69, died July 22, 2018, in Knoxville, Tenn.

James attended the Broward Public System and graduated from Dillard High School. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and served two years in Vietnam. He was employed by the City of Ft. Lauderdale for thirty-five years.After retiring he relocated to Perry.

Left to cherish his memories are: six sons, Marvin, Arnold, James Jr, Tevin, Marcus and Thomas; four daughters, Capucine, Alicia, Kaylene and Natasha; two brothers, Tony and Timothy; five sisters, Gloria, Diane, Beverly, Lesa and Magnolia; twenty grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The visitation was held Thursday, August 2, ]from 4-6 p.m. at Mt Olive M.B. Church.

The funeral service will be held today (Friday) at 9 a.m. at Mt. Olive M.B. Church.
