St. Petersburg man seriously injured in rollover crash here

A St. Petersburg man was airlifted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital early Tuesday morning with serious injuries he sustained in a one-vehicle crash on U.S Highway 19.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports Jeffrey Silberstein, 64, was traveling southbound when he overcorrected and lost control of his 2002 Toyota Tundra truck. The vehicle rotated clockwise and overturned, with the roof and driver’s side of the truck slamming into a tree.
