Rash of break-ins reported

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is investing a string of burglaries and attempted break-ins that occurred on Industrial Park Drive Sunday night.

Business owners discovered the damages Monday morning, with Handy Rentals and Bassett’s Dairy reporting their electric meter boxes had been tampered with, TCSO Chief Chuck Mincy said. Bassett’s also reported their fence had been cut.
