Blount gains 21 yards in limited preseason action

Detroit Lions’ runningback LeGarrette Blount had five carries for 21 yards in the Lions 16-10 loss to the Oakland Raiders in their preseason opener last Friday night.

Blount got the start, but didn’t get many carries, as Detroit took it easy on a number of their first-string players, including quarterback Matthew Stafford, who did not even take a snap.
