Sheriff Padgett answers questions posed by Clerk of Court Murphy

Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett sat down with a Taco Times reporter Monday to answer a list of questions and concerns, some of which were submitted by Clerk of Court Annie Mae Murphy on behalf of public citizens.

Padgett began by providing a copy of a letter from the county’s auditor (CPA Powell & Jones) stating, “There were no reportable findings in the current year,” and “The prior year’s findings were substantially corrected in the current year.”
