Mayo author will be guest speaker

The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will present guest author Kasey Lynn Carothers of Mayo on Monday, Aug. 27, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Carothers has written the young adult mystery, “The Creepy House Down Spooky Lane.”

There will be light refreshments and a door prize. The program will be held at the library (403 N. Washington St.), and is free and open to the public.
