Using DNA and dental records, investigators have positively identified the severely-burned body discovered just over one month ago in a heavily wooded area of Taylor County as belonging to a missing Port St. Joe man.
According to Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Inv. Gina Deeson, both DNA and dental records have confirmed the body found in a wildlife management area off Highway 98 West as being Gerald “Jerry” Dale Stokoe, 76.
