Man, 69, charged with molestation

An investigation that spanned nearly two years ended with the arrest of a 69-year-old Perry man charged with lewd molestation of child under the age of 12.

Morris Paxton Bratcher, who lives on U.S. Highway 19 North, was taken into custody Aug. 14, one day after Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Special Agent Robbie Hooker received a lab report that matched Bratcher’s DNA to DNA found inside the four-year-old victim’s underwear.
