Bruce Bolton

Bruce Henry Bolton, 64, passed through this life on his journey home on Aug. 22, 2018.

Bruce was survived by: two sons, Christopher (Chris) Michael Bolton and Matthew (Matt) Alan Bolton; one brother, William Wayne Bolton; and one sister, Janeen (Jan) Bolton-Brown.

Bruce worked at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital as a respiratory therapist. He worked 24 years in Ft. Meyers area hospitals and the Sarasota area. Bruce gave tirelessly helping others.

Bruce graduated from Taylor County High School and graduated college in Gainesville. Bruce was well known for his band in high school called The Gastric Juices. He enjoyed working on his antique outboard motors and his many cars with his boys.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church. A covered dish dinner will follow the service in the Parrish Hall.
