Taylor Leadership Council asks county for $10,000, gets $30,000

Representatives with the Taylor County Leadership Council (TCLC) approached the Taylor County Commission last week asking for $10,000 to help cover a portion of the costs needed to renovate bathrooms at Jerkins Community Center.

Instead, when they left, TCLC volunteers had a pledge for $30,000 from the county to cover the entire project.
