While two out of every three registered voters did not cast a vote on Tuesday, Taylor County did have significantly better turnout than it did four years ago in the 2014 mid-term election.
A total of 4,194 local voters cast a ballot in Tuesday’s Aug. 28, 2018, Primary Election, reflecting 35% of the county’s current total of 11,993 active registered voters.
