County balks at Wright Road, Jefferson transfer

County commissioners expressed some reservations Tuesday night over an agreement reached in January that would include the county assuming ownership and maintenance of a portion of Hwy. 221 in exchange with the state taking over maintenance of Wright Road.

Commissioners were apparently confused by the boundaries of what portion of Hwy. 221 (Jefferson Street) they would be responsible for in the future.
