    Mystery, dinner and ‘40s radio meet in ‘The Sound of Murder’

    The Monticello Opera House has opened its 2018-19 season with “The Sound of Murder,” a murder mystery set in a 1940s radio studio.

    The owner of the station is desperately trying to keep it on the air, but times are tough. His son, the manager, wants the station to fail so that he can get involved with the wonderful new technology — television. There is a murder, and everyone has motive and opportunity.
