Mary Ann Adams, 61, died Sept. 6, 2018, at her home in Perry. Mary was born May 2, 1957 in Jacksonvillle to Edward Salway and Hazel Wilchee. She met her husband, Michael while he was stationed in Jacksonville. They were married on June 1, 1987.
Mary moved to Perry with her husband in 2007. She was a member of the Taylor County Master Gardeners, Perry Garden Club, The Taylor County Historical Society and the Sandy Toes Red Hats. She also enjoyed crafting and genealogy.
Mary was preceded in death by: her parents, Edward Salway and Hazel Wilchee; her stepfather, Edmund Rowe; her brother, Chucky Rowe; and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by: her husband, Michael Adams; her children, Mary Beth Currey, Rebecca Adams, and Jeremiah Adams; her sisters, Claudia, Elaine, Karen and Beth; her brothers Michael and Brae; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home in Perry. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a cancer research facility or a hospice provider of choice. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
