Interlude
Last week we began a ride through Perry’s railroad history with former resident Russell Tedder as our conductor, who, after a five-decade career in the rail industry, calls Arkansas home in his retirement.
From 1951 to 1966–minus a stint in the military–Tedder worked at what is now know as Perry Historic Station, becoming its agent at the age of 19.
