Christina L. Patterson

Christina L. Patterson, 42, died Sept. 14, 2018, in Perry. Christina was born Dec. 10, 1975, in Tatchikawa, Japan, to Philip Vann and Alma Kay Harmon Vann.

As a child, Christina grew up in Perry. She married Herbie Patterson Aug. 12, 1998. They began their life together and had their first child, Josh Patterson on March 15, 1997, followed by Magan Patterson on May 2, 1998, then Jacob Patterson on Oct. 20, 1999.

Christina enjoyed singing karaoke, hanging out with her friends and family and collecting M&M candy memorabilia.

Christina was preceded in death by: her parents, Philip and Kay Vann.

She is survived by: her husband of 20 years, Herbert Lee Patterson; her three children, Josh, Magan and Jacob Patterson; her brother, Bruce Sherwood; her sisters, Rebecca McIntosh and Geneva Vann; her mother-in-law, Willa Deen Patterson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Richard Joiner officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Waters Cemetery in Steinhatchee. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. today (Friday) at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
